The design of the campervan was inspired by Howl's moving castle

An interation of the design I felt captured all the right elements. not a finished one, but as far as I wanted to take this before trying other ideas

A Dynamic duo

So I was watching that film "2001"...

The final design I did- and as finished as I wanted to get it. after this one, I decided the concept was a little too bizzare for my liking

Pinterest told me to design it

Getting my hands dirty

Using my handprint, I then used the liquify tool to gently morph the proprtions of my hand to resemble that of a baby's

from there I then moved around some of the floating limbs and applied some masking layer effects

Theft: my favourite form of art

So an idea I had for a while with this brief was to do an ultrasound of a baby throwing up a peace sign.
there was something that just seemed to fit the vibe perfectly in terms of iconography and mood in the image.

The big issue however was the method. I had the image in my head, but I wanted to do something relaistic- and a simple illustration wasnt going to cut it.
I was thinking of the pixies, or Dave McKean with the photo collage style, so my next idea was to use a photo.
the only problem there being that I didnt know anyone who was pregnant. (hopefully)
in the end I went to the internet and ripped a photo of an ultrasound from there.
then used some airbrushing and basic smudging tools to add in a similar peace hand to the one I made earlier, however at that point it still looked very similar to the original, so I then added a tonne of effects and styles akin to the Pixies.
In the end- a poster I liked, but not a wholely original one, so not my favourite.
